Ancient Egypt – The Once Green Land

We have been telling people for decades that Egypt and indeed all of North Africa, were at one time lush green environments with ample rainfall and evidences of many lakes and rivers flowing through it. Wheat fields stretching out to the horizons, not unlike the plains states of the USA, were common. The latitudes that Egypt sits upon stretch around the world to subtropical climates such as Florida in the U.S., and northern Vietnam. But beginning in 1490 BCE, or 2510 A.M., this all came to a sudden halt at the time of the Exodus with Yahweh destroying the fields and lands of greater Egypt. Since that time the jet stream which used to flow over North Africa, Egypt and the Sinai, has shifted south into central Africa. For this reason the Sinai was called a “wilderness” at the time of the Exodus – because that’s exactly what it was, a well watered land. After 40 years of sojourn there, it slowly without rainfall became a desert.

This is how the Great Pyramid of Giza Plateau looked like when originally completed, without showing the green vegetation around it. It was faced with white limestone that was highly polished and then capped with a solid gold ‘capstone’. In the daytime these pyramids glowed, and at night they reflected the stars.

The Tomba di Giganti Sa Domu ‘e S’Orku is located West of Siddi in the south of Sardinia and is dated between 1500 – 1350 BC and was probably built by the Nuraghi culture, although some earlier dating has been found at some of the tombs. The interior chamber is about 30 feet long and about 4 feet wide and is still in very good condition with two wings, forming the characteristic shape of a “bull’s head”. The tomb was excavated by Giovanni Lilu in 1940s. It is orientated towards the south east and has some cyclopean blocks that must weigh between 30 and 40 tons. It is one of many “Giants’ Tombs” in Sardinia and has the Mycenean style interior chamber that also resembles Hittite construction (Turkey) and even West Kennet Long Barrow (Wiltshire, UK). He holds a PhD in Mayan studies. At Megalithomania 2011 he updated his research about Bosnia looking at archaeoastronomy, earth energies, dating methods and numerous other disciplines that has caused more controversy than any other site on the planet. PLIMPTON 322: Part 1: Introduction & bibliography. The clay tablet with the catalog number 322 in the G. A. Plimpton Collection at Columbia University may be the most well known mathematical tablet, certainly the most photographed one, but it deserves even greater renown. It was scribed in the Old Babylonian period between -1900 and -1600 and shows the most advanced mathematics before the development of Greek mathematics. The numbers on the cuneiform tablet are written sexigesimally (in base 60) with combinations of two symbols, one for tens and one for units. Several unit symbols are placed in particular patterns to form the digits 1 through 9, and several ten symbols are placed in particular patterns to form the five digits 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. Spaces are left to indicate zeros in the unit’s place and zeros in the ten’s place. In this transcription a colon is used to separate different sexagesimal digits for ease of reading. This is the same notation we use for time.
